Qualification for UGC Net 2019 – National Tasting Agency has set UGC NET 2019 (June Session) from 20th to 28th June. The information related to qualification for this net is as follows. Graduate degree holders with minimum 55% marks can register for the exam before March 30. Apply now.

The examination of the June session will also be held in CBM mode. The examination is conducted for more than 84 subjects and selected candidates are kept in more than 874 universities across the country.
Who can apply? Those candidates who have received at least 55 percent marks in Master’s degree or equivalent examination from recognized universities / institutes, who are doing masters degree or in the last year and the result of which are still waiting, can apply. Such candidates will have to complete their master’s degree or equivalent exam within two years from the date of NET result, which is the required percentage of the mark.
5% discount will be given to OBC, SC / ST (ST) / Handicapped (PWD) category and transgender candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in Masters Degree or equivalent examination.
UGC Net – This examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the first time on the University Grants Commission (UGC). 91 selected cities are organized in 84 subjects. It is organized for the post of Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or for both. Those who want to apply can do so on September 30 before the official website https://ntanet.nic.in/ntanetcms/public/home.aspx Registration fees can be paid by October 1.
Those qualified for JRF will be eligible to receive UGC Fellowship under various schemes. The validity period of the proposal will be three years. Candidates can only be present about their postgraduate.
Notification of eligibility for UGC Net
Online Examination: The examination will be conducted only as a Computer Based Test (CBT).
There will be two test papers. Both papers will have only objective types of questions and they will be tried with a 30-minute break.
Paper I – will be 100 digits and it will have 50 questions. The questions will normally be questioned with the intention of assessing the teaching/research qualification of the candidates. It will be one hour (9:30 to 10:30).
Paper II – will be 200 marks and there will be 100 questions. This will be based on the topic chosen by the candidate. All questions of Paper-2 will be mandatory. It will be two hours (11 am to 1 pm).
UGC Net 2019 Application Fee
Candidates of general category will have to submit an application fee of Rs. 8.00. Reserved category candidates (OBCs) will have to submit an application fee of Rs 400, while for SC / ST / PWD / Transgender candidates Rs 200 will be given.
Discounts for Ph.D. holders: People with Ph.D. degrees, whose Master level examination has been completed till September 19, 1991, will be eligible for a discount of 5% (55% to 50%) in the total marks.
Script facility: The facility of the script will be provided to visually challenged candidates who have 40 percent or more disability. Such candidates will have to submit the request when applying online.
UGC Net 2019: Important Dates
The examinations will be conducted in many sessions on June 20, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 June.
Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): To be present in JRF, the upper age limit has been increased to two years, i.e. from 28 years to 30 years of current upper age limit (as before, the same will be the same).
Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit.
Age limit increased: Age limit has been increased to 2 years. Earlier, the upper age limit was 28 years for JRF to be present, but now, it has been extended to 30 years.
