JEE Main 2020 News: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has already released the schedule for JEE Main Exam 2020 on its official website nta.ac.in. As per schedule, the online application process for JEE Main Exam 2020 will start from September 2, 2019. Complete information for JEE Main will be released soon on jeemain.nic.in.
The last date to apply for the JEE Main 2020 exam is September 30, 2019. Candidates will be able to download their admit card from December 6, 2019.
JEE Main 2020 News
JEE Main (I) 2020 will be held between 6 to 11 January 2020 and JEE Main Result 2020 will be announced on 31 January.
The JEE Main Examination will be conducted by the NTA twice before admission for the next academic session. The first JEE (Main) exam will be held in January and the second in April. A candidate can appear in one or both JEE (Main) exams in a year. If a candidate appears in both the exams, the one in which they score better will be considered for admission.

The details from the notification about JEE (Main) 2019 January exam are as follows:
1- Paper 1 will be conducted in computer-based mode only and Paper 2 will be conducted in both computer-based and paper and pen mode. A candidate can choose to choose either Paper 1 and Paper 2 or any of the two papers.
2- Paper 1 is for those who want to get admission in Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and graduate in technology programs in IIT. After Paper 1, the selected candidates have to appear in JEE (Advanced). Admission to IITs will be based on category-wise All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Advanced only, subject to the conditions defined in the JEE (Advanced) 2019 website. The candidates will be asked to solve Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry questions in Paper 1.
3- Paper 2 is for those candidates who want to study B.Arch and B.Planning. Candidates will be asked to take the exam in a computer-based mode for mathematics and aptitude test and the drawing test will be in pen and paper-based mode.
The examination is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for admission to National Institute of Technology (NIT), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and other centrally funded technical institutes.
